Complete business systems we build, host and support — running live for businesses today, and available to yours.
Each system below is in daily production use, built for the way business is actually done here — URA-compliant tax, mobile money, multiple branches, and a network connection that cannot be taken for granted.
We host and maintain each one, so you sign in and start working. Pick a product to read the full overview, or go straight to its homepage.
Multi-branch business management, hosted and ready to use
Invoicing, quotations, payments, stock, cash, projects and CRM for a business running one shop or twenty branches — with URA-compliant VAT and withholding tax built in.
The lending cycle end to end, from application to final repayment
A lending platform for SACCOs, microfinance institutions and money lenders: loan products, repayment schedules, collateral, guarantors, collections and arrears reporting across every branch.
Multi-branch business management, hosted and ready to use
gitobiz is the system we run our own business on, rebuilt as a service any company can sign up for. It covers the cycle a Ugandan business actually works through: quote a customer, turn the accepted quote into a tax invoice, receive the payment, watch the stock leave the shelf, and close the day with the cash counted per till.
Everything is organised as a company with one or more branches. Stock, the daily cash ledger and document number sequences are per branch, while customers, suppliers, the product catalogue, projects and the CRM are shared company-wide — so a second location is a setting, not a second system. Company defaults can be overridden per branch where a location genuinely works differently.
Tax is not an afterthought. VAT is charged per line with a real treatment (standard, zero-rated, exempt or deemed) rather than one blanket rate, withholding-agent customers deduct their 6% automatically and the credit is tracked until the certificate arrives, and a VAT return is closed, filed and paid as a recorded lifecycle instead of a spreadsheet recalculated each month.
Quote, revise, convert to an invoice, then print or email a document carrying your own branding, a VAT breakdown and a QR code the client can verify online.
Part payments, deposits received before the invoice exists, and withholding deductions — with aged receivables showing exactly who owes what.
A till that works at counter speed, per-branch stock levels derived from an append-only movement ledger, and shelf prices that may include or exclude VAT.
Every bank account, mobile-money line and cash box as a named account, each balance backed by a signed ledger, and a day-by-day close that has to reconcile.
Purchase orders, goods-received entries that recompute weighted-average cost, supplier balances and payables.
Categorised income and expenses, staff expense requisitions with an approval step, and budgets tracked against actual spend.
Project budgets, milestones, a drag-and-drop Gantt schedule with critical path, casual-worker attendance at agreed daily rates, and payouts.
Leads, interactions, campaigns and follow-up reminders that arrive on time instead of living in a notebook.
Per-line VAT treatment, the VAT return lifecycle from open to filed and paid, withholding credit tracking, and period locking so a declared month cannot be quietly rewritten.
VAT returns, withholding schedules, aged receivables, profit and loss and a full business report — each as a PDF you can hand to an accountant.
Company owners, admins and members, plus a per-branch role for each user, so a branch manager sees their branch and the owner sees everything.
Optional two-factor authentication, session timeouts, and an audit log recording who changed which field, when, and from where.
The lending cycle end to end, from application to final repayment
Lending is a business of dates and balances, and both go wrong quietly. This system generates the repayment schedule at disbursement, accrues fines on overdue installments on its own, and ages arrears in a report — so a portfolio problem surfaces on a screen rather than in a conversation months later.
A loan moves through a defined lifecycle — pending, approved, active, then paid off or defaulted — and each step is permitted only to the roles you allow. Collateral is tracked from pledged through released or seized, guarantors are recorded against the loan, and agreements can be signed remotely: the borrower or guarantor opens a private link and signs on their own phone.
Every institution runs as a company with its own branches, users and permissions, and each branch keeps a daily cash balance that payments and disbursements are validated against. Branches on unreliable connections can run locally and sync to the central server, so a day of lending is never lost to a dropped line.
Customer records with documents, photographs, next of kin and mapped locations, only visible to a user's branch.
Products carrying their own interest method, term, fees and fine rules, so an officer picks a product instead of typing numbers.
The pending, approved, active, paid-off and defaulted lifecycle, with approval restricted to the roles you authorise.
A repayment schedule generated using flat-rate, equal-installment or declining-balance amortisation, printable for the borrower.
Record, confirm and reverse payments, work a collections list by due date, and let overdue installments accrue fines automatically.
Pledged, released and seized collateral with the rules tying release to loan status, plus guarantors recorded per loan.
Loan agreements signed from a private link on the borrower’s or guarantor’s own phone — no printing, no second trip to the branch.
A public loan-status check and a repayment calculator, so borrowers can answer their own questions before they call.
Payment reminders and confirmations by SMS, and Mobile Money collection on the plans that include it.
Admin, manager, supervisor and officer roles with fine-grained permissions scoping every query, and an audit log over the lot.
Branch daily balances with sufficient-funds validation, so a disbursement cannot be recorded out of money the branch holds.
Support for managing multiple accounts types, ensuring proper segregation and reporting for bank, mobile-money and other payment methods.
Staff payroll alongside the lending book, so branch running costs sit in the same reporting as portfolio income.
Arrears, income, portfolio and repayment-statement reports as PDF, plus Excel exports and dashboard charts.
A branch can run on a local database and sync to the central server, keeping lending going through an internet outage.
